17th Edition Wiring Regulations

The 17th Edition training course is designed for practicing electricians and related trades needing to update or demonstrate an understanding of the IET 17th Edition Wiring Regulations up to Amendment 3.

An effective way of ensuring that all electrical work carried out complies with the latest IET publication.

Best industry practice requires everyone who undertakes electrical installations, repair or maintenance to undertake and pass a City and Guilds 17th Edition exam.

The Training offers you or your staff the opportunity to undertake the 17th Edition update course under the tuition of fully qualified and experienced electricians still active in the electrical sector.

The 17th Edition Course is:

Suitable for those working (or who wish to work) in the domestic, commercial and industrial sectors.
Update training.
Covers everything that you need to know to comply fully with Wiring Regulations.
Who Can Take the 17th Edition Course?

Electricians currently working in the domestic, commercial or industrial sectors, whether self-employed or working on contract.
Electrical workers who need to update their 17th Edition training and qualification.
Contract Managers.
Architects, design consultants, council workers and those working in industries that align closely with the electrical installation field and would benefit from knowledge of 17th Edition Wiring Regulations.

We offer all of our learners the opportunity to study in a group setting at our excellent training centre, or if they prefer they can undertake the course at home using online learning.

Both options give learners access to our fully trained and highly experienced tutors, whose knowledge of the Regs is both theoretical and practical because all of our tutors still regularly work in the electrical installation industry.

All learners are offered extra support via email from their tutor when they are revising for their exam, a learning tool that has been given a big thumbs up by people who have taken their 17th Edition exam with us.

There are also past papers available through our website which means you can get in some extra practice before facing your exam paper.

We offer individual places, but can also cater for large groups so we’re a good choice for everyone from the self-employed to local councils and large installation companies.

The 17th Edition Course has been specifically designed to develop learning and understanding of the principles of working with electricity, and provides all of the support and guidance required to comply with BS 7671
