CCNSG LATS (Leading a Team Safely)

THis course It designed to provide an essential introduction to managing small teams within the context of Health and Safety in the Engineering Construction Industry.

Course Duration: 1 Day

Contents:

The workshop covers a number of key topics including: 
  • How to communicate successfully 
  • How to lead a team successfully 
  • How to achieve safe outcomes 
  • Self-management 
  • How to work safely with others 
It explores these topics in an interactive way and delegates’ participation throughout the day is a key factor. 

The course is based around the concept of ‘The Good Job’ and structured into four elements: 
  • The Team 
  • The Plan 
  • The Job
  • Good Job

  • This course is delivered in English and therefore a prerequisite of this course is that delegates are fluent in the English language.

This is a one day workshop for Personnel who have successfully completed the 2 day CCNSG National Safety Passport course

Important Candidate Notes


To attend the CCNSG LATS Course candidates must have attended the CCNSG National Safety Passport course.

Delegates must be able to understand and converse in the English language. Any delegate who cannot meet this requirement will not be able to attend the training course unless the course has been approved by ECITB to be delivered in another language and/or an ECITB approved translator present. More information is available on request.

 

Personal details such as address, National Insurance Number and photographs taken at the beginning of a course will be uploaded to the National ECITB database electronically, by attending the course it will be deemed that the delegate(s) accept this and a data subject consent form will need to be signed on the day of the course confirming your agreement. A copy of this form is included at the end of these joining instructions. A digital photograph will be obtained.

 

Upon successful completion of the 2 day initial and renewal course, delegates will be issued with a temporary passport valid for 6 weeks. The 3 year CCNSG Passport cards will be posted directly from the ECITB to the individuals address.

 

To be eligible to attend a Renewal course safety passports must not have expired by more than 3 months or have more than 3 months left until they expire



Candidates need to have passed the 2 day CCNSG safety passport course within 2 yearss of attending the LATS Course.
